A lot can change in two weeks. While I’ve been a bit quiet here, we’ve been loud in the Innovative Labs—launching our No Names Just Vibes podcast, leveling up the brand, and pushing the site to feel as modern and intentional as the students we serve. These big moves pull me into more meetings, more testing, and more vision-casting. Still, they’re all in service of one thing: keeping ISH not just open, but evolving, sustainable, and unapologetically Innovative.​

Okay, a little late on this blog post but better late than never, right? This week has been such a blur it feels like a couple of days were skipped just to throw me off. We’re cooking up something really cool in the Innovative Labs—odd in the best way—but I can’t quite reveal it yet. When it drops, you’ll see it here on the Innovative site, because we’re always working to be more than a school and lean into that com·mu·ni·ty·ish energy we love to talk about. Ideas aren’t free; they take time, know‑how, and resources, so we’re carefully choosing which ones to pull from the Lab and whether now is the right moment. This Founder’s note is shorter than usual because I’m knee‑deep in the Labs (and maybe losing a little hair over it), so you just stay ready—we’re committed to innovating in non‑boring ways.

In the middle of a winter storm warning, it felt like the right time to check in early. While much of the community stayed home, we focused on small quality-of-life updates designed to make the student experience clearer, smoother, and more connected.
