We’re so excited to have you here! This guide will walk you through everything you need to know to get started and succeed in your class.

Before Class Starts

You’ll receive an email from your instructor with the following:

  • A Google Classroom invite

  • eBook login information

  • A Food Handlers Card from E Food Handlers (if required)

  • 📬 Tip: Check your junk or spam folder—these emails sometimes land there.

    Class Schedule & Pace

  • This is a 2-week class

  • This Hybrid Program Includes:

  • In-person Lab Skills training

  • Hands-on practice to build your confidence

    - (Not required for CNA Bridge)

  • Live Zoom training sessions

  • Real-time support and answers to any

    questions you may have

    📅 Scheduling Details:

    These classes will be scheduled within 48 hours of starting class.

    You will receive a text message with all the details.Assignments are due Monday–Friday by 11:59 PM

  • You can work at your own pace as long as you meet the deadlines

  • Want to finish faster? You’re welcome to complete multiple lessons in one day

  • Your manager will be notified so your work schedule can be adjusted. If you are self-paying,

    we’ll notify you so you can plan ahead.

What You’ll Do Each Weekday

Every weekday, you’ll submit three things:

  • Daily Attendance Attestation

    (Confirms you participated that day)

  • Lesson Summary (Part 1)

    (Write a short summary of what you learned)

  • Post it in the Stream section

    (front page) of Google Classroom so classmates can learn from

    each other

Lesson Quiz (Part 2)

  • Must score 80% or higher

  • You can retake quizzes as many times as needed

    Grades & Progress

  • Your instructor checks the classroom twice a week to monitor progress.

  • Grades are returned weekly

Once you complete all Google Classroom work and in-person training, you’ll be ready for your final exam:

  • Final Exam Information

    - The Final Exam will be posted in Google Classroom

    - It will be available for 1 week to give you time to study and prepare

    - You must score 80% or higher to pass

    Be sure to plan your study time wisely and complete the exam before the deadline
